We are honored to serve Dekalb County with the 2010 Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program.
We have placed our collection boxes around the County and ask that you drop a toy into one of them. For a list of box locations click on the the toy drop off site page. There are a number of events scheduled as toy and fund collection events. Please join us for the Midwest Natural Bodybuilding Competition, Stagecoach Players production of "A Christmas Carol." or the Sycamore Theater fundraising weekend. Details can be seen on our events page. We will pick up the collection boxes by 16 December so that we can distribute the toys on 20 Deceber at the Salvation Army on 9th and Grove in Dekalb.
I will be contacting the people who have volunteered within the next few days to coordinate the work needed to buy, collect, sort and distribute toys. We are ahead of the game so far but a lot of work starts to pile up as soon as the toys start showing up in boxes.
I want to express my gratitude to all the local businesses, groups and individuals who enable us to promote and organize Toys for Tots. This program is all about serving our families and children. Please support Toys for Tots.
