| Q:Where should we our register children to receive toys from Toys for Tots? |
The Sycamore LCO has partnered with the Salvation Army in DeKalb to register and distribute toys and clothes to families the week of Christmas.. The contact details are as follows:

| Q:What is the timing for Toys for Tots? |
The Toys for Tots campaign runs November and December. Families can register their children (infants through High-School age) with the Salvation Army in DeKalb. Families are typically asked to pick up the toys the week of Christmas. |

| Q:What is required to register children for toys? |
The Salvation Army in DeKalb requires a form be completed which provides the information about the family and children. Additionally, this program is needs based and requires sufficient documentation to demonstrate the family and children are eligible for the program.
Lastly, in order to ensure all registered families are supported, Toys for Tots and Salvation Army cross-check with other organizations in the area to ensure families are only able to receive donations once. |

| Q:How can you help the Toys for Tots program? |
The Toys for Tots program is successful because people and companies donate toys and funds to the program. Hence, anyone can start a collection program to collect new, unwrapped toys and/or funds. Contact your Sycamore Toys for Tots coordinator for ideas and resources (posters, collection boxes, give-away items, etc.).
Additionally, volunteers are needed the week of Christmas to help with setting up the distribution facilities at the Salvation Army in DeKalb. |
